- A broadband internet connection
- A Wi-Fi router compatible with 802.11b/g/n
- A computer with Windows XP/Vista/7 or Mac OSX 10.5, or 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
- An internet browser, specifically Internet Explorer 7 (Windows only), Firefox 2 and 3 (Windows and OS X) and Safari 3 (OS X 10.5 – 10.6)

- Does Eye-Fi Geo X2 wirelessly upload RAW files?
No. Only the Eye-Fi Pro X2 card does. The Eye-Fi Geo X2 card uploads JPEG photos and videos wirelessly.
- How is geotagging provided?
Geotagging is provided through Wi-Fi Positioning System (WPS), which is different from Global Positioning System (GPS). Read about how WPS works »
- Can I upload only certain photos and videos, or do I have to upload everything?
That’s up to you! Every Eye-Fi card has a Selective Share Option, which, once enabled, lets you use the “lock” or “protect” key on your camera to pick which photos and videos are uploaded. Once you’ve made your selection, only the protected videos and JPEG photos will upload online, while everything will be backed up on your computer.
- How does Endless Memory Mode work?
Endless Memory mode is an option you can activate on your Eye-Fi Geo X2. Enable Endless Memory, and your Eye-Fi Geo X2 card will automatically free up space once your photos and videos have been safely delivered. It’s like having an endless memory card!
- How do I know if the Eye-Fi Geo X2 card works with my camera?
The Eye-Fi Geo X2 card is compatible with most SDHC cameras. You’ll need your camera make and model to check if it’s compatible.
- In which countries is the Eye-Fi Geo X2 available?

- Can I use the Eye-Fi Geo X2 with a Compact Flash adapter?
